Too many pictures

One of the problems I find with photography is that I take an awful lot of pictures. When taking these flower close-ups 2 weeks ago I took a total of 138 photos. I have only used 13-14 of the photos I took that afternoon. I tend to think and say that my favorite colours are purple and green. In reality, I think I like all colours just different colours for different things, for example, I wouldn’t want a green phone case but green walls or notebooks are nice, depending on the shade of course. Where I live in the northern hemisphere It’s rare to find blossoming flowers in winter. This plant in my garden has decided to continue flowering until now even though it is already mid-December. This plant lacked water at one point and shrivelled up but now it started flowering again. I’m not sure if it’s going to burn itself out this winter and then stop flowering altogether. Fluttering beauty

Butterflys are far from being easy to photograph. They tend to flutter around randomly and are never stable enough for a picture. When they do decide to perch somewhere they like closing their wings hiding their beauty from spying lenses.

It’s very frustrating when you get stuck in a car, taxi or bus and there’s wonderful scenery outside just waiting for a picture. Photography through glass just never works out the same, especially moving glass.

I’ve visited the mediterranean sea a total of 4 times this spring, a cycling trip in March and 3 walks this April. Cycling is a lot easier of course but it’s hard to observe your surroundings as your rushing past everything.
